Our After-School Performing Arts Intensive is more than just rehearsalsβitβs an unforgettable journey of creativity, confidence, and community. Over the course of three exciting weeks, students will:

Vocal warm-ups and techniques
Group singing and solo moments
π Build Stage Presence & Acting Skills
Theater games to boost confidence and creativity
Script reading, character building, and basic acting
ππ½ Learn Basic Choreography
Fun, age-appropriate movement and staging
Ensemble performance practice
π Prepare for a Final Showcase
Rehearsals leading up to a live performance
A moment to shine for family and friends at the end of the intensive!
β Program Requirements & Expectations
To ensure the best experience for everyone involved, all students participating in the Rice Performing Arts After-School Intensive must meet the following requirements:
π Student Requirements:
Must enjoy singing, acting, and dancing!
Must be willing to participate in all activities.
Must demonstrate positive attitude and teamwork.
π Attendance Policy:
Only 2 excused absences are allowed.
More than 2 absences may affect eligibility for a major role.
TECH WEEK IS THE 3rd week of Camp. No Absences are allowed unless and emergency
Consistent lateness or early departures may also impact showcase roles.

πMONDAY- THURSDAY / SHOWCASE IS THE LAST FRIDAY OF CAMP
π‘ Program Tuition:
$300 per student / 3-week session
This includes:
All instruction in singing, acting, and movement
Rehearsal materials (scripts, music, activities)
End-of-session showcase performance
Light snacks each day
Access to production equipment (sound, lighting, microphones)
π³ Payment Details:
Fee due at registration (non-refundable)
No refunds will be given once the session has started.
Students who are dismissed due to behavior or excessive absences are not eligible for a refund.
In cases of family emergencies or medical withdrawal, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis with written notice.
